What resolution should I choose when converting PDF to JPG?
150 DPI is enough for screens and web use. Choose 300 DPI when the image will be printed or when small text has to stay readable. Higher settings mostly add file size without visible benefit.
Should I export to JPG or PNG?
JPG is smaller and better for pages that are mostly photos or scans. PNG is lossless and keeps sharp edges, so it is the better pick for pages with fine text, diagrams, or screenshots.
Will the text in the exported image still be selectable?
No. Converting to JPG produces a picture of the page, so the text becomes pixels. If you need selectable or editable text, use the PDF to Text or PDF to Word tool instead.
